Detroit Metro to Atlanta, GA
After a rather lengthy negotiation with the Air France personnel
at DTW, we got our tickets and managed to make our way through
security to our gate. A short trip down to Atlanta got us to
our big Boeing jet that was our home for the next 9 hours or
so.
Atlanta, GA to Paris, France
After a long flight, we are all packed into this bus and taken
to our terminal at the airport. For some reason, there was a
long wait to get into the terminal. Crowded bus...warm day...
stuffed next to Europeans who have just spent 9 hours sitting
in one place...not the most fun in the world.
Paris, France to Athens, Greece
Another three hour flight and we're in Greece. The flight attendants
on Air France tried to rearrange the seating assignments for
the entire aircraft so that Yener and I could sit together.
Once we got to the airport, we discovered our luggage was left
in Paris and we had to wait for it to arrive.
Athens, Greece to Paris, France
Paris, France to Cincinnatti, OH
Missed out plane thanks to Air
France, but managed to get on the next flight without much
delay.
Cincinnatti, OH to Detroit Metro
Still had about an hour to drive
to back home, but at least it was a nice day.
