A Tiger's Game - 8/15/01

I got to go to my first Tiger game at the new stadium in downtown Detroit! It was awesome. Ray managed to get tickets through his company and the seats were absolutely spectacular! We sat right behind the dug-out of the Tigers and the people who sat around us were, for the most part, pretty cool folk. Below are some photos:

 So this is the view of the score board from our seats. Were were almost at eye-level with the field and we were close enough where we could hear just about every sound of the players who were close to us. It was REALLY awesome. The seats were amazingly comfortable and they became even more comfortable as we finished our 32 ounce Bass Ales.
So we got near front-row seats to watch the mascot dance. Personally, I don't think the Detroit Tiger should be wearing a 10-gallon hat....but that's just my opionion.

...And here's the gang! Kevin, Me (the good-looking one!), Ray, and Ray's older brother Bob. This photo was taken at the end of the game (the Tiger's won!) by one of the women who sat in front of us. She was cool and she obviously knows how to handle a camera. Should she stumble upon this page, I'd like to thank her for her help!

I had a great time this night. Good friends, sports, and a victory! Thank you for the invitation, Ray! I appreciate it. (Ray Rocks!)
