Meet Adam!
|
|
This is my friend Adam. I met Adam online towards the end of the
summer of 1999 when he was a student at EMU. Adam's one of those
people I am very glad to call my friend since he's always been there
when I needed him and he is willing to listen to me gripe when I
get into a mood. He's also there for me when I need to celebrate
good times. I tend to think of him as the little brother I don't
have (no offense to my little sister!) and I enjoy his company,
counsel, and grounded perspective.
I generally don't have friends in Adam's age group, but I found
him to be rather atypical. He thinks about things more seriously
and a bit more deeply than his peers. To this day, I find him a
great person to talk to about a variety of issues as well as a fun
intellectual sparring partner.

So what does Adam do? Well, he works for the automotive industry.
He has held a few different positions with them, but he is
currently working at GM's Facilities Help Desk. He's been
at this job for a little while now and he seems to be very
happy with the work. I know he is looking forward to finishing
school and progressing upward on the corporate ladder and
I know he can do it!
He currently resides in the Novi area, so I have a friend
there to visit when I drive by on my way to work. He's also
been up to my place several times and usually tries to visit
while in the area. It's always good to see him!
